About DeMarkMe

DeMarkMe is a small, independent tool for reworking text and images. It does two things: it rewrites AI-assisted text at the vocabulary, sentence, and structure level, and it removes visible watermarks from images using local inpainting.

Why it exists

Modern AI models embed statistical watermarks in their output — invisible biases in word choice that detectors can pick up. That makes AI-assisted writing awkward to reuse, even when the ideas and most of the work are yours. There's no honest way to prove such a pattern is gone; the only real lever is changing the text deeply enough that the pattern degrades. That's what this tool does, and it says so plainly.

What we believe

Honesty over hype. We don't promise detection outcomes and we never will — verification belongs to whoever holds the model provider's key. Instead, every rewrite comes with measurable transformation metrics, so you can see exactly how much of the text changed and judge for yourself. We'd rather show you the numbers than sell you a feeling.

Who runs it

DeMarkMe is built and maintained by a small independent project — no venture funding, no data harvesting, no accounts. The service is funded by unobtrusive ads on the content pages. Your text is processed in memory and never stored; see the privacy policy for the short, readable version.
